About ASA
Building bridges between Albanian talent and opportunity
Our Mission
Fostering connections between Albanian students at HSG and the broader Albanian professional community.
The Albanian Student Association (ASA) at the University of St. Gallen exists to bridge the gap between Albanian students pursuing world-class education and the thriving Albanian professional diaspora across Switzerland and Europe.
We believe that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Through curated networking events, a structured mentorship programme, and a vibrant community, ASA ensures that Albanian students at HSG have access to the networks, guidance, and resources they need to launch exceptional careers.
From intimate dinners with professionals at Rothschild & Co and McKinsey, to workshops on breaking into private equity, our events are designed to create lasting connections — not just handshakes.
Our Story
From a small group of students to a recognised force at HSG.
ASA was founded by a group of Albanian students who saw a clear gap: despite the remarkable success of Albanians in Swiss finance and consulting, there was no formal bridge connecting them to the next generation studying at HSG.
Our first major milestone came with the ASA Consulting Dinner in November 2025, bringing together students and consultants from top firms in an intimate Zürich setting. The event's success proved the demand and set the standard.
In March 2026, the ASA Finance Dinner followed, gathering professionals from Rothschild & Co, Schroders Capital, StepStone, and Ufenau Capital Partners. With each event, ASA's reputation grows — and with it, the opportunities available to our members.
Looking ahead, the ASA Mentorship Programme launching in the 2026/27 academic year will formalise the connections our events create, offering structured 1-on-1 mentorship for active members.
